Why the Blog is Slow Sometimes

I figured out that my blog slows down when I post video clips from Google. For example, every day we were on our pilgrimage we uploaded 5 minutes video clips (housed on Google Video). If anyone knows of a better way to do this without slowing down the blog, let me know. Thanks!
