www.CWN.com says "It's not a quick read. This is heavy material, and the document spans 76 pages. But Pope Benedict has a real gift for putting profound ideas into simple sentences. You won't have trouble following his exposition. But it will take time, because you'll want to stop and think, again and again. This is rich, beautiful material. Make it a weekend read. Don't miss it!"

Maybe not a quick read, but a great read. I have now gone through it twice and once again I am in awe of Pope Benedict.
Many wonderful adjectives would be used to describe the comforting, humbling, inspiring message of the genius of this essay. I’m in awe. Looking for a great, thoughtful Christmas gift for that special person? Download a copy, bind in a hand -decorated binder and you’ve got it!
