Father Corapi doesn’t deserve criticism right now, especially from the likes of liberal democrat Mark Shea. I am surprised to see him referenced here.

I am sorry that some people do not like the parody I relayed. All I am trying to do is gather information, facts, parodies, etc. to help us understand the situation better as we all grapple with the bombshell that has been dropped on us. No matter what I post not everyone will be happy. This has happened so quickly. It has left all of us grappling with the situation trying to understand and decide what to think. I have posted much here on my blog and on http://www.Facebook.com/catholicconvert with pro and con, one side and the other, especially in the multiple Comments to my posts. I have pretty much concluded, though, that Father Corapi has made a very serious mistake in the way he has handled this situation. I also find it interesting many that say “Do not judge” are quick to judge me and many who say “Support our priests” are often quick to condemn the Bishops. I will continue to provide good information and sources as we try to understand the situation and I will continue to call it as I see it and I ask for your patience and your understanding.
Steve, I appreciate your courage and sense of responsibility in dealing with this matter. There is at least one Catholic outlet that seems to be banning the Corapi matter. I don’t think that’s the right response to this serious situation, which affects us all. We don’t need to wallow in it but we can’t be ostriches or knee-jerk reactors either. So thank you, and may God bless you richly.
