Terri Schiavo is Dead

by Steve Ray on March 31, 2005

Terri Schiavo is dead as of 10 AM today. Her parents were denied access to her bedside at the moment of her death.

What a travesty of justice and a scar on the soul of America.

My Burned Steak

by Steve Ray on March 31, 2005

I was kicking myself as I sat down with my family to eat the steaks I burned on the grill — rats!

We turn on the TV news to discover that . . .

. . . while starving her to death, the courts promised another hearing on Terri Schiavo but then snubbed her again refusing to reinsert her feeding tube . . .

. . . while at the same time we hear a feeding tube was inserted into the Pope!

And then I hear that new documents reveal the attempted assassination of the Pope was ordered by the old Soviet KGB . . .

. . . and I see Indonesian’s screaming as their dead family members are pulled from rubble for the second time . . .

You know what? A few minutes ago I was pretty upset about those burned steaks – but now it seems pretty trivial!

Federal Court Agrees to Hear Appeal in Schiavo Case
March 30, 2005

The 11th Circuit Court of Appeals has stunned observers in the case of Terri Schiavo by agreeing to consider a petition for a new hearing on whether to reconnect Terri Schiavo’s feeding tube. This is an eleventh hour decision, as the 41-year old woman is entering her thirteenth day without food or water.

Please double your prayers right now for Terri as this might still save her. There’s a good blog at: blogsforterri.com which also has links to other good blogs.
