Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas Steve and Janet, and a happy new year. I was fortunate enough to go to the holy land pilgrimage in september 2007 and had the trip of a lifetime, i was also fortunate to get to read at Mass at Jesus Tomb an experience i will never forget. I don't know if you keep pictures that long but if you do I certainly would like to have one.
STEVE RAY HERE: Hello Dr. Polly! I have pictures of you reading at Mass, I am sure. I will check and send them to you by email. There are other pictures you can see here.
Dr. Polly from Texas also i didn't understand your timeline for Jesus 4 BC please explain, looking forward to seeing you in Corpus Christy next trip.
STEVE RAY HERE: One date that we know is when King Herod died. He died in 4 BC and they just found his tomb in the Herodian near Bethlehem. If Herod died in 4 BC then Jesus had to be born before that. Calendars have been adjusted since that time also — especially the changes to the Gregorian Calendar.
