No Longer at the Well – GREAT Conversion Story

by Steve Ray on June 16, 2008

the woman at the well is at home

DonnaEllis.jpgThis has to be one of the most creative and interesting stories I've read/seen. Donna Ellis has had more experiences, traumas, and dead ends than any ten other people — and she finally found the Catholic Church.

There is no way I can describe the story, or how she tells it with words and pictures and music — you just have to go there for yourself. It is raw, tough and honest.

Plan 1/2 hour, start at the top right and read and watch as you scroll down to the bottom. Click here.

This is great….to read about someone who needed the peace, stability, tools, comfort of HOME, the Catholic church……and who was welcomed.
I felt like a freak in my confirmation class. But I kept on and became Catholic. It’s just too bad that more people like us don’t somehow feel welcomed into the faith, IE HOME. What can be done? So badly I want the CAtholic church to become a HOME for ALL people, not just the people who genuflect properly. Make sense to anyone?
