Today in Melbourne

by Steve Ray on July 5, 2010

Just gave a talk “Witness to Hope: the Early Church and Martyrdom” at the University of Melbourne. Excited, enthusiastic youth responded with joy and commitment!

We then visited sites related to Blessed Mary McKillop who will be canonized a saint in October. More soon.

Steve,

Is this your first trip “down under”? What did you think of the country? The scenery? The people?

Did you have “shrimp on the barbee”? :-)

Just curious, Melbourne and Sydney are on my “bucket list” for places to go…

Have a great trip! Have some vegemite on me (I actually like that stuff!! Go figure!!) and may God Bless your endeavors and your family, and keep you safe while you travel.

What’s not to like about Vegemite? lol The mistake people often make is to use too much; a little goes a long way.

I hope you will post some more about your trip to Australia Steve.
