Individually Sealed Communion Kit

by Steve Ray on January 12, 2011

Isn’t it great to be Protestant? (chuckle)  You can now take Communion safely with these nice prepackaged crackers and grapejuice. Just pull off the hermetically sealed top and “commune.” Yum!

I am so glad to be a Catholic!!  (click in image for larger image)

Hi Steve!
I love listening to you wherever I find you….EWTN, Catholic Answers, On the trip with Dr. Hahn to the Holy Land. You are such a great apologist. I have a link to you on my website/blog. Now if only I could have gone on that trip with you all and Dr. Hahn :-(

Since I’m in RCIA and a former protestant….I know all about disposable communion sets and how badly I want to actually be able to partake of HIS real food – the Eucharist.

I’m trying not to laugh but actually I bought these once on sale at a clearance rack in a Christian bookstore that was not a chain. I sat in the floor by myself in my office floor (after hours) and prayed over them and asked Our Lord to bless them because I so longed to experience more of HIM.

HE definitely knew what I needed before I did. Not even a year later I was on my way to the Catholic Church – the last place in the entire world I would ever thought of becoming a member…I mean rank it up there with “I think I’ll be a Buddhist today”. I can’t believe how much I cherish the Church now.

The Early Church Fathers are always the beginning of the end if you read them with an open heart for truth. Too often we let the so called experts in theology tell us just what the early church meant, did, said, and believed. They are reading the same books that Dr. Hahn, you, and many others have read.
But as the old saying goes, “In the land of the blind, the one eyed man is King”…

I’ll look for you on Facebook. I’m FB friends with the valient and brave, Patrick Madrid, Father Mitch, Francis Beckwith, and Patty Bonds (love this lady …she understands where I’ve come from).

Thanks for this posting.. It truly is sad..sort of gnostic in a way…”disposable Jesus” almost. No wonder they don’t get the whole idea that Jesus instituted and the apostles continued the Eucharist.
No wonder they think we are crazy. Can you see Catholics kneeling before a package of 500 ct. Welch’s and bite size wafer in cellophane??
No wonder there are so many denominations. It’s not a big deal to start over somewhere else or even to get thrown out of a church…just go down the road and start your own church and order 500 pre-packaged and it can last forever depending on how thrifty you are with having the “Lord’s supper”

Blessings and the peace of Christ to both you and your wife, Janet!

How about a Communion Host Dispenser and wine-infused hosts. The video sadly makes me laugh
