Long Hot Blessed Day in Goa

by Steve Ray on January 22, 2011

Today speaking five times for 1.5 hours each time to 2000 wonderful Indians. A new thing for me: speaking with a translator!

Record temperatures in India. I gave 5 talks in high 90′s. I was drenched in sweat but I LOVE serving the Lord and his Church.

Same temperatures and schedule tomorrow.

The first pictures are from the seminar at Pilar Center during the day. The last two pictures are from the evening talk at St. Jerome’s Church in Mapuca Goa.

Janet’s ankle is getting better after her tumble down the stairs four days ago. I am so happy she is recovering quickly.

I am happy to see the great work you are doing and although I could not make it for the talks I keep you in my pryrs from now on. Please pray for me andmy 5th baby to come. We belong to a prolife group called Artists for Life and also are going to homeschool our children. I have a homeschooling blog called goacanhomeschool.blogspot.com and a prolife one called auriel-chooselife.blogspot.com besides my personal writings in Herald which I post on aurrsa.blogspot.com
Thank you and your family as well the defenders of the faith team for the tremendous work and we pray for some radical changes in the abortion laws soon. When America changes its laws, the rest of the world may.

After listening to your talks at Pilar and also at St. Jerome’s Church, Mapusa, I am more than ever convinced that ‘It’s Great to be a Catholic!’ Thanks Steve for telling us just that!

Hope to see you more often on EWTN!

To Cyrus D. Costa:

May I share with you, if you won’t mind, my experience on how I defend the Catholic Faith. First and foremost, I prayed and kept praying that the Holy Spirit will bestow upon me His gift of wisdom and knowledge.
Second, I study very much the Holy Scriptures and the Doctrines/Teachings of the Church, in full communion with the Holy Pope, because those are really the gifts of knowledge that God has given us. Finally, I pray the Holy Rosary (with the Divine Chaplet) everyday because that is the way that the Blessed Mary will become my Mediatrix of Graces from God.
