Happy Anniversary to us! 17 years ago this Pentecost our family was received into the Catholic Church! Blessed be God! Best decision ever! Emily and Sean with us in the Holy Land. Looking into the Face of God in Manoppello Italy. Janet, me and Jesse guiding in Israel.
I had a great time speaking to my daughter Emily's friend at the Madonna University Kairos' group. Great bunch of college students concerned about the most important thing in life - God! My daughter Emily is 4th from the left standing, leaning forward and smiling. Proud of that girl! Visiting Charlotte outside Chicago. Her boyfriend Wes joined us for for Church, lunch and a nice day. Anti-Obama election signs popping up across the country :-) Our grandson Joshua received 1st Communion today! Thanks Fr. Ed for now bringing the NEXT generation of Ray's into the Church!
Made it to Rome with St. Peters behind us. Early to prepare for JPII's Beatification. Now that our grandson Dominic is out of the hospital we could take him for his birthday lunch. Janet and I thoroughly enjoyed watching all four seasons of the British series Doc Martin. It is a a quirky, fun and entertaining series. At Geronimo's grave in Fort Sill Oklahoma.
Grandson Dominic recovering from burst appendix. My new grandson Daniel Xavier Ray - thanks to a great son and daughter-in-law and ultrasounds. Article in the newspaper about NY day-long seminar for 1,000 priests, religious and seminarians. First talk in Mumbai.
Today Janet and I have been married 34 years - and loving it! First best decision of my life (the second was to become Catholic). She is God's great gift to me: the best friend, partner, lover and mother of our children I could never have dreamed of myself. Thank you God and thank you Janet! Dr. Fr. Professor Paul Haffner I told these great young people stories about the beginning of ourFootprints of God series. With all the great, bright and friendly students at Duquesne University theology class.
