“I want to invite Steve Ray to speak at our event. What do I do?”

Step One:	Check Steve’s Schedule. See if your desired dates are available.
Step Two:	Review Speaking Fees and Arrangements below.
Step Three:	Complete the Speaking Request Form.
Step Four:	Steve or his son Jesse will respond by e-mail (or phone) letting you know if he can accept the invitation. They may request further information. Please allow a few days for a response — we don’t have a staff, we do this all ourselves.
Step Five:	If Steve is available for your event, he will ask for an Official Invitation Letter by e-mail, fax or US mail. Please make sure your letter includes the following: Name, address, phone number, e-mail for contact person; Statement of agreement and acceptance of the fees and conditions; Specific dates and times you are inviting Steve to speak; Short description of event and the talks you request Steve to give; Agree that Steve can display and sell his products; Agree that Steve will record his talks and sell instant MP3 file downloads; Agree to provide three tables and competent volunteers to manage his sales; Shipping address to which Steve can send products; Permission to begin working on travel arrangements; Agreement to reimburse for plane tickets within two weeks of purchase (if applicable).
Step Six:	When Steve receives your Official Letter of Invitation, you will be contacted with a final acceptance and we will begin making arrangements. Your approval will be gained before making any final travel arrangements. Speaking Fees and Arrangements

Sponsors Provide:

1. - All expenses such as airline tickets, transportation, meals, hotels, internet access, etc.
2. - Three tables to display and sell products which he will provide.
3. - Minimum of two volunteers to sell and maintain the book tables at all times.
4. - Checks are to be made to:

Steve flies Delta Airlines or one of their SkyTeam partners and prefers to purchase the tickets himself after pre-approval from the sponsor. We prefer to book our own hotels, using Hampton Inn which is inexpensive; we don’t stay in private homes.

Unless otherwise arranged, Steve will be recording his talks and offering them on his website within 24 hours as MP3 downloads.
